That is normal and it is not a fault. Every piece of advice is read by a person before anyone else can see it, so yours is in a queue. It is usually within a day. Meanwhile you can see it yourself, exactly as you wrote it, marked with its status.
Comments normally appear the moment you post them. One held for review means a word in it matched a list the app keeps, and a person now has to look before it goes up. The list is deliberately narrow — insults, not subjects — and it can be wrong. If you think it caught you unfairly, it will still be approved when it is read, and you can email the address above.
That is what removal looks like: your content stays visible to you and is hidden from everyone else, rather than vanishing without explanation. If you think it was a mistake, email and say so. Decisions are reversible.
Block them. Open their profile and block; it takes effect immediately, without waiting on anyone, and it works both ways — you stop seeing them, they stop seeing you.
Report the content. Every post and comment has a report action. Reports are private; the person is never told who reported them.
If something needs a faster answer than a report, email.
Profile → delete your account. It happens immediately and cannot be undone. It removes your account, your name and bio, your advice and your comments, your saves, your votes, your blocks and your reports. There is no way to keep a post and remove its author.
If you cannot reach that screen for any reason, email and it will be done for you.
Sign-in is by email or by Sign in with Apple. If a sign-in email has not arrived, check spam first — it is usually there. If you used Sign in with Apple with Hide My Email, that relay address is the one to check. Still stuck: email from any address and say which method you used.
Reading needs no account. Writing, voting, saving and commenting do, because they are things the community attributes to a person.
