Math Games Privacy Policy

Summary

Math Games has no accounts and no sign‑in, and we never ask for your name, email, or phone number. Your high scores and settings are stored on your device, not on our servers.

The app is free and is paid for by advertising. To do that honestly, two things need stating up front: Math Games shows ads through Google AdMob, and it uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data so we can see which games people actually play. If you would rather not see ads at all, a one‑time Remove Ads purchase turns them off permanently.

What stays on your device

• Your high scores for every game. They are saved locally and are never uploaded. You can erase them at any time with Settings → Reset High Scores.
• Your settings — sound effects, haptics, and the difficulty level.
• Whether you have purchased Remove Ads.

None of this is sent to us. Deleting the app removes all of it from your device.

Analytics we collect (Firebase)

Math Games uses Google Firebase Analytics, a third‑party service, to measure how many people use the app, whether they keep playing, and which of the games are popular. This tells us what to improve and what to build next.

What is collected:

• Anonymous gameplay events — starting a game, finishing a round with its score, and setting a new personal best. Each event records which of the games it came from.
• A randomly generated app‑instance identifier, which is not tied to your name or your Apple ID.
• Basic device information: device model, iOS version, language, and an approximate location (country, city, or region) derived from your IP address. This comes from your IP address, not from location services — the app never asks for location access.
• If you buy Remove Ads, Firebase automatically records that a purchase happened, along with the product and its price. It is linked to the random app‑instance identifier above, never to your name or your Apple ID, and it never includes payment details.

What is not collected: your name, email address, phone number, or contacts; your precise GPS location; or any personal content. Math Games never asks for location access at all.

This anonymous data is processed by Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Math Games shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. There are two kinds, and neither one interrupts you mid‑question:

• Full‑screen ads that may appear after a round ends. They are rate‑limited, so they do not appear after every game.
• Rewarded video ads, which are entirely optional. You only ever see one if you tap “Continue” on the game‑over screen to earn an extra life or extra time. Ignoring the button costs you nothing.

To supply ads, Google may collect and process device and usage information, including your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, general location derived from it, and data about the ads you were shown and interacted with. Tracking and the permission prompt

When you first open Math Games, iOS may ask whether the app can “track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites.” That prompt is Apple’s App Tracking Transparency request, and it controls access to your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).

• If you allow it, ads may be personalised, meaning they can be selected using that identifier.
• If you decline it, the app keeps working exactly the same and you still see ads — they are simply non‑personalised, chosen without that identifier.

Declining costs you no features and no content. You can change your answer at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland

Before any ads load, Math Games shows a Google‑certified consent form asking how your data may be used for advertising. Your choice is respected for the ads you are then shown.

You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from Settings → Privacy Options inside the app. (This row only appears for users in regions where the consent form applies.)

Remove Ads (In‑App Purchase)

Math Games is free and every game is unlocked from the start. There is one optional purchase, Remove Ads, a one‑time payment that permanently disables all advertising in the app — both the full‑screen ads and the rewarded ones.

The purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, card number, or any payment details — only Apple’s confirmation that a purchase was made. Because it is tied to your Apple ID, Restore Purchases in Settings brings it back free of charge on your other devices, or after reinstalling.

What Math Games does not do

• No accounts and no sign‑in.
• No location access. The app never requests it.
• No access to your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• Your scores are never uploaded, shared, or published. There are no online leaderboards.

Your choices

• Turn off personalised ads: decline the tracking prompt, or change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Change your advertising consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland): Settings → Privacy Options in the app.
• Remove ads entirely: the one‑time Remove Ads purchase.
• Reset your advertising identifier: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Erase your scores: Settings → Reset High Scores in the app.
• Erase everything: delete the app. Because the analytics identifier is random and stored on the device, deleting and reinstalling starts a fresh, unlinked identifier.

Children

Math Games is a general‑audience app. It is not directed to children under 13, is not part of the Kids Category, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Data retention and where data is processed

We do not operate servers or databases of our own, so there is no account for us to retain. The anonymous analytics and advertising data described above is held by Google under its own retention schedules, and may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data relating to you, or to object to how it is used. Because Math Games has no accounts, the fastest way to exercise these rights is through the in‑app and iOS controls listed under Your choices above. For anything else, email us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any material way, the updated version will appear here with a new “Last updated” date.
